Yesterday, Geodelta participated in Hâck The Hague for the second time with Omnibase. During this event, the City of The Hague invites ethical hackers to examine the systems of the city and participating organizations for vulnerabilities.
Our software engineers were present at City Hall all day to liaise with the hackers and evaluate their findings. This allows us to subject Omnibase to critical scrutiny outside of our own development and testing processes.
Participating in Hâck The Hague gives us an additional, independent perspective on the software’s security. Precisely because researchers examine the system with a different approach and background, they may uncover issues that are less likely to surface within regular development and testing processes.
We’d like to thank the City of The Hague and all the hackers who really dug into Omnibase during Hâck The Hague.
